The RVDTech Pro Track App uses a tablet PC and GPS interface to give teams an extremely versatile and cost effective solution. By providing a virtual dashboard, lap timer, sector timer and data logging for less than you can imagine.

 

RVDTech Pro Track can connect directly to the TITAN PDM to give full data acquisition and video synchronization.

 

 

The system has three race screen modes:

  • Practice.

  • Qualifying.

  • Race.

RVDTech Pro Track package is not just a complete vehicle power management system, is not just a lap timer, it’s not just a data acquisition system and it’s not just video synchronization. It’s ALL OF THEM. Everything you need in your street, track day or race car in one system.

 

A lap timer is one of the best upgrades you can install in your track day or race car that can instantly make you go faster. A lap timer can quickly tell you if the lines you took on the last lap made you quicker or slower. Where on the track did you accel... Was it the tighter line though the hairpin, carrying more speed in turn 6 or did braking later at turn 10 give you any more speed on the back straight? The only way to understand what made your lap faster is to break the lap down into sectors and display whether your lap was quicker or slower in the sector. Race drivers are normally quite busy concentrating on a number of things when trying to drive that perfect lap. You don't want to have to be doing calculations in your head to understand if the first, middle or last part of the lap was faster or slower and by how much.

 

The RVD Pro Track software is displayed on a 10" tablet mounted in your car. The software displays the information you need to know in a clear and simple manner. The RVD Pro Track software also displays the complete lap time and complete lap plus or minus time just like a normally digital lap timer.

 

But it doesn't stop there, the system can also:

 

  • Displays and logs data from the Power Management Module such as:

    • Brake pressure.

    • Water temp.

    • Oil pressure.

    • Fuel pressure.

    • Steering angle.

  • Displays and logs data from engines OBDII connection such as:

    • Engine rev’s

    • Water temp.

    • Trottle position.

  • The RVDTech intelligent interface incorprates:

    • GPS 100Hz receiver.

    • 3 axis accelerometer

    • 3 axis gyroscope

    • OBDII connector

    • Bluetooth 4.

  • Video Camera data synchronization from 1 to 4 video camera feeds.

 

This recorded data and video footage can then be uploaded to the RVDTech Pro Pits software package for viewing on a PC, laptop or large flat screen TV.

 

The next step in getting quicker is reviewing and understanding your vehicles data. The RVD Pro Pits software is designed to be simple to understand; no more studying sheets of paper that look more like your last ECG results. RVD Pro Pits software displays the video footage, recorded data and engine parameters on one screen and in a way you can easily understand.

 

A driver can easily see which line was quickest, how much brake pressure was used in the turn and whether he or she was smooth enough with the power coming out of the corner. Race engineers will find this data invaluable for making car set-up changes.
